"蓮" Hasu (a lotus flower)

There are so many lotus flowers at Ueno-park in Tokyo.
Beautiful, but too many flowers smell hard for me.
And I found some turtles again here.

I love lotus! Unfortunatelly we don't have them here (as far as I know), just other species of water lillies.

What does 'tanoshimi' means? The same as sayonara?

I like the expansive background of those lotus plants with that solid building in the background. Nice composition.

Not a flower we have either. A shame they are so pretty. I love the low shot with the expanse of grass in the foregound.
